Organized into three groups, student volunteers gathered all the litter along the path leading to the camp and dam, on the main beach, and in the vicinity of the “Jezero” Hotel.

Approximately 60 of us are here, and we are eager to finish the task swiftly in the shade. We are well-equipped with goodwill, a positive attitude, gloves, rakes, bags, and we are ready to begin. – shared Angelina Simonović, a third-year student at “Bora Stanković” Grammar School in Bor.

Milica Tomović, a year junior and a student at the Economic and Commercial School, shared her pleasure in participating in volunteer work and environmental conservation efforts. She emphasized that people often neglect to consider where they dispose of their waste.

“It is crucial for all of us to treat nature with greater care and do our best to protect it. That is why our efforts are so significant. I would like to remind everyone not to litter wherever they go, as there are plenty of trash bins available in the area. Our happiness will be greater when there is no litter,” emphasized Milica.

During this initiative, approximately 50 kilograms of various waste were collected, and the management of the “Jezero” Hotel, acting as a good host to the dedicated volunteers, provided a meal and refreshments.
